Our Review On PetSafe® Canada Toys For Your Cat And Dog. We have two great toys that we received from PetSafe® Canada. In exchange, we were asked to do an honest and unbiased review of their products.

The PetSafe Squeak N Treat Ninja Star and the FroliCat® Multi-Laser™ Automatic Laser Light Toy were sent with the Drinkwell® 7.5 Litre Pet Fountain for us to review. The first toy I am going to talk about is the PetSafe Squeak N Treat Ninja Star For Dogs.

However, we received the large one not the small. You can see from the size compared to the other boxes. It is quite large and safe for our dog.

Jasmine’s First Reaction to the PetSafe Squeak N Treat Ninja Star

She could barely contain herself when she saw the toy. It is extremely durable for any power chewers out there. She hasn’t figured out how to squeak the toy yet. But she found a way to get the toy to release the treats. We did customize the toy as instructed by removing some of the stoppers in the toy.

You can customize the toy for the size of the treats, you can also see that it is medium strength right between hard and soft. We found it very hard for us, but easy for her to squeak.

Treats we used for the PetSafe Squeak N Treat Ninja Star

Normally we use Charlie Bear treats for basic training. They do fit if you customize the toy. We also used smaller ones. But also lower calorie. We fill it up with 10 or so treats. She loves puzzle toys and she is still yet to figure this one out completely. She uses it as a puzzle ball. Here is her when she first saw the toy:

This is days after, and she is still playing with it trying to figure it out. Even when we don’t have treats in the toy, she loves to just carry it around and play fetch with it.

3. Quiet and don’t roll underthings as easy as a ball. The design seems to prevent it from getting stuck anywhere.
4. Can be used just as a toy

6. Safe for your dog
7. Keeps your dog busy, especially during an online meeting!

Con’s

1. May take time for your pet to figure out how to squeak the toy.
2. It is hard for our gentle giant to squeak the toy sometimes.
3. If using smaller treats they need to be filled more often.

Overall Experience with our PetSafe Squeak N Treat Ninja Star

I must say I am impressed with the quality of the toy. I have no worries about her chewing any corners off as it is so durable. She absolutely loves to play with the toy. Considering her toy box is huge. She still pulls her PetSafe Squeak N Treat Ninja Star out and plays with it each day. She recently started bringing the toy to bed with her, or at least trying to!

We were getting some electrical work done in the house and she didn’t want to put her PetSafe Squeak N Treat Ninja Star down anywhere.

The toy will keep your pet occupied if you want to leave the house. You will not have to worry that they will chew on your shoes while you are gone. You just fill the treat toy and by the time you get back, the treats will be gone and they will have kept busy the whole time. Most importantly your shoes are still in one piece!

I have also used the toy during an online meeting. Especially if you make it a bit of a challenge for them to get the treats out. Don’t make it too hard or they will get bored with the toy.

FroliCat® Multi-Laser™ Automatic Laser Light

The Arrival

When we first received the FroliCat® Multi-Laser™ Automatic Laser Light it did not come with the two AAA batteries required. Set up was very simple and had all the information accessible.

Once we set up the FroliCat® Multi-Laser™ Automatic Laser Light for the cats, only one of our cats seemed to be interested first. His name is Ink. He loves to explore new things and took a great interest in the new toy!

Charcoal, on the other hand, wasn’t sure what to do. He was a feral kitten our family rescued from under my husband’s welder. He was in rough shape and quite feral. But again through rehabilitation and patience, he has grown to fit in just purrrfect! This could be the reason he was so skeptical at first.

At first, Charcoal wasn’t sure what to think of the new toy. He has never seen a laser pointer before. Charcoal will come around in his own time.

Ink on the other hand is very curious. He watched for a while and next thing you know he is playing with his new toy and quite delighted.

And well when the cats are not playing with this FroliCat® Multi-Laser™ Automatic Laser Light, Our big pup Princess Jasmine likes to have her time with the toy!
